Joker’s Wild

Joker’s Wild Video Poker

All American video poker is essentially a Jacks or Better video poker game with a few twists. The difference that will strike most experienced video poker players is that there is no minimum and maximum bet to place for each hand. For this game, you simple choose your stake and the number of hands you want to play and then click to deal the cards. Select the cards you wish to hold and click to discard and draw new cards. There is an auto hold feature that will hold a winning hand, but not a potentially winning hand.
But video poker is all about the pay table. All American Video Poker give me a 9/6 pay table, meaning 9 times my bet for a Full House and 6 for a Flush, but it does have a payout that makes it a second choice for me if I have to pick between it and a 9/6 Jacks or Better game. In All American Video Poker, two pair only pay back my bet, the same as a high pair. In a traditional Jacks or Better game, a pair would double my bet. This makes the odds on All American Video Poker slightly less favorable than odds on a full pay Jacks or Better game. But overall, still a game worth checking out.
